Bonny Albo

If you’re checking out this xDating review, you probably got an email asking you to sign up – but you don’t remember ever having heard of the site before. That’s how I discovered it, at least.

Focusing on adult, casual, and primarily sexual relationships, xDating does an amazing job at marketing their services. Do they really offer anything out of the ordinary though?

Let’s jump right in. Or, if you’ve used the site already, please scroll on down and add your own xDating review in the comments.

Signing Up

Literally, ten seconds after signing up, with zero verification, you’ll have access to the xDating website. I think this might be one of the fastest (if not the fastest) dating site sign-up in my 10+ years of writing dating site reviews.

Now, before you think is is an amazing thing… it is, but only sort of. Because there’s no requirement to upload a photo or write something about yourself, you’ll find most users just can’t be bothered. About 30% of the profiles I encountered had nothing on them. Zilch. Nada.

Look and Feel

There’s going on with xDating; it took getting used to. Once I did though, I liked the updated list of information along the left column. This included my matches – although at first, I had none.

A reminder popped up I’d have to start ‘liking other people’ for matches to show up. Okay, no problem, I can do that.

I was never prompted to fill in my profile or do anything at all with it. Refreshing? Kind of, especially for a casual dating site.

Everything on the site focuses on matching two people. You “like” one another? Awesome, you’re matched. It’s literally that simple. Or, complex, if you can’t figure out why you’d like a blank profile.

Well, you can’t. Or, I couldn’t figure out how. If I wanted to find someone based on what they wanted (say, a single female), I couldn’t. Same went with the opposite (if I wanted a single male, for instance).

You will, however, see ample nude and sexually explicit pictures as you scroll through other users – many of which are real. Meaning, these aren’t airbrushed photos, or taken by a professional.

Don’t like what you’re seeing? (There are a surprising number of 60+ gents on the site). Choose “Safe Mode” and adult photos will show up instead as a blurred, grey box.

Connecting With Other Members

High tech describes the site well, and that extends to connecting with other users of the site.

I received a substantial number of messages, however all were well above my age and none in my geographic region. Most offered their graphic images right off the bat, and then their contact info off the site if I was “real”.

The Fine Print

Every reputable dating company has a term of service and hopefully a privacy policy. xDating doesn’t disappoint here. While some of it might seem extreme or unreasonable, it’s mostly standard fare.

If you’re one of those folks who signs up without reading the fine print? I’ve done the heavy lifting for you:

  • Having an issue with another member? xDating won’t get involved;
  • Your contact information might get shared with “third parties”;
  • It seems impossible to find out what xDating offers its members, other than a vehicle to (potentially) meet people;
  • No refunds; and
  • xDating employs automatic billing. Nutshell? If you sign up, you’ll be billed automatically for the same time period again for seamless service. Don’t want automatic billing? You must set an alarm for yourself to cancel before it runs out. I suggest a week in advance.

Again, that last one is standard fare, but it’s important.

xDating Membership Costs

If you subscribe to xDating, it’ll run you $59.95 for three months’ service (or $19.98 a month). If you want a shorter membership, your only option is $29.95 a month.

The Bottom Line on This xDating Review

xDating offers its users a slick interface with some fun yet basic features to connect for a hookup or casual relationship.

Prices are fair and on-par with other dating sites in this category, but they have a host of other features (video chat, for starters, and usually a more robust search feature even for freebie memberships).

While I only spoke with one person who had paid for a membership, they seemed to love the service. Lots of members in their area, they’d hooked up a few times, and no bells or whistles to distract them from their goal: sex.

So, would I recommend signing up after writing this xDating review? Sort of.

Just make sure you’re aware of that fine print, check to see how many users live nearby, and maybe post a picture or two? You know, for the gals like me that want to know who they’re talking to.

  1. This site is just one of many that is unfortunately out there. It’s most likely run by a bunch of thieves (guys) who don’t want to work for a living. I’ve seen 5 to 10 of these sites that are almost identical in their appearance and function. All the profiles are bogus, and the pictures are stolen randomly from the Internet. If you take your time and really read what some of these guys compose as profiles, there’s not a lot of women that I know of talk in the manner which the profile shows. They may know how to create and operate a website but they know absolutely nothing about human interaction, or psychology in society. They wont last long as I saw information concerning an investigation upcoming.

  2. The terms do state the site is for entertainment only. not really true, the site is clearly to make cash from the unwary. First rule of scamming is appear to give people what they want and this site certainly does that. I am over 50 and was offered relationships from 22 year olds, totally unbelievable! Two beauties ‘from the uk’ were shown posing in their cars – perhaps the site owners should be aware our auto controls are on the rhs of the car. Three matches in an hour then nothing for the next searches – just like an angler waiting for the fish to bite. No payment via paypal is suspicious. The list goes on. I kept my money and have also kept my standard (free) membership, some of the featured models are truly stunning so its handy for spending spare minutes browsing but as a dating source you must be joking.

  3. This site is a total fraud and offers nothing real. It targets people with original message to lure you into paying then you are left without any responses from anyone, no matter who or how often you send a message. Several profiles are exact copies of other profiles or the same pic/pics are used on multiple profile. I even did a search one time and noticed the same pics on 3 profiles all claiming to be from different locations.

  4. Completely fake, fraud doesn’t even come close to this sham. Many (if not all) of the women’s pictures were taken from the internet, hence they could not respond to email, because they are NOT real! Some nude pictures of members, but nothing else. I paid $29.95/mo and when my bank noticed the charge, they also caught them stealing my personal info…so my bank closed ALL my accounts.

  5. This site is a total fraud aimed to gain cash. I created an account to check out the site. I received a handful of messages at first. After paying for a subscription I was unable to receive a response from anybody who had messaged me even though only change was that I had obtained a subscription. There is a mutual match system as well. I have found that the majority of the users listed with like an individual back within a few minutes of you liking them. But in these cases I was still unable to receive a response from these users. Basically it boils down to the fact that this website is employing people to message and like users to illicit a subscription from the user. If you value your time and money then please do not waste either on this site.

  6. This website is a scam and fraud. The people are not real, just photos they used. It is a waste of money and time. You have to email the website in order to cancel your membership or they will keep charging you. Stay away from this website unless you want to waste 30 bucks a month.
